October - New babies & Halloween Parties!

September 30th Amanda had her sweet little Tevia! She went really fast! Her water even broke while she was at home in the Kitchen, then she was like eww I feel gross I need to shower before I go to the hospital! I mean come on who does that! She is so funny I love that girl! She got to the Hospital about 12:30 and had her sweet baby around 5:00 am, I believe. I had a feeling before I went to bed to find my phone and check it, but didn't so I woke up to a couple messages, one saying she was going into the hospital and one saying she had her baby! So excited for them though! She is a beaut!

And to make it even better, My other little sis, Nikki, one week later had her sweet Paislee October 7th. Poor Nikki was in Labor for almost 24 hours! The midwife was debating on doing a C section cause she wasn't progressing as quickly as they though she should, but Nikki received a blessing and started progressing quite quickly after that! She had her sweet baby just right before midnight. It was a long 24 hours for them but I am sure little Paislee was well worth it! She is a beauty!

One morning I told Ethan to go wake up Kiley so that we could take him to school and he wouldn't be late, well it took him a while to get back so I went to check on him and instead of waking her up he got in bed with her and decided to go back asleep! That silly boy! He makes me laugh!

Yeay! October was also the time to Can Apples! We hadn't canned Apples for a couple years now so we were excited to so Kev could make his yummy Apple pies!! Ethan enjoyed helping daddy can the apples!

Maybe is was because he would sneak some apples!

On October 30 we had a fun little dinner Halloween party, Everyone brought some awesome desserts and we served brains and flesh soup (Chicken and dumplings) and blood mesh (Chilli) It was awesome. Then we had Ernest Scared Stupid playing in the background! That movie is a classic! Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves plus the new babies came and we loved seeing them!

Halloween night we spent the night at Kev's brothers house going around with their kids. Ethan was a Robot and Kiley was a Butterfly Fairy. It was a fun night!

And Paislee is just gorgeous!! She reminds me so much of Oakley when she was a baby. With all of her long, black hair!! I am so glad Nikki was blessed and didn't have to go into surgery! Heavenly Father does answer prays! I am sad I am missing these baby girls growing up.

Hahaha I laugh out loud so hard when I read the story about Ethan going back to bed!! hahaha I can totally see Kaleb doing that!! He must have been exhausted! That picture of him sleeping next to her is so cute!

Fun, Fun! I love canning! And you guys make THE BEST APPLE PIES in the WHOLE WORLD! The next time we are down in Utah we will have to have you guys make us one! They are delicious! My Beautiful Wife - (Kev's input on our blog)

I can't imagine my life without my beautiful wife, son and daughter! Erika is a loving, patient, and exceptional wife. she is a kind and wise mother! I am so blessed to have her! we held hands for the first time as we walked around bountiful park! she faked a neck pain while laying on my lap and kissed me for the first time! I worried for it seemed like forever about that kiss, I worried that I wasn't very good at it! she thought I was cute though and it worked out to my advantage! Erika and I had known each other for quite some time. She would come and do things with my friends and I. We were at the bountiful park for a young single adult activity and we were playing a game that included quite a bit of running and a heavier girl went down and was haveing trouble breathing. so I went and helped her. to make a long story short I think the girl was faking it cause when I mentioned ambulance all of her simptoms seemed to go away! Erike thought it was cute of me to hold her hand and tell her everything was going to be alright! I think I blew that a little later though when I threw a cooler full of ice water on her during a water fight! I knew she was meant for me after she made it past two weeks of me! She is wonderful! she makes me laugh and I am so happy to see her when I come home! Erika has so many qualities, she is patient, loving, tender, faithful, family oriented, always striving to do better, I cannot say enough about her! I hope she always knows of my love for her, my devotion to her, and my cherishing of her!
