July - A month I pretty well missed

July was filled with so many happenings, family was down from everywhere, Canada, Wyoming, Montana, but yet I seemed to have missed most of the fun that was going on because of a sinus infection / flu that I had caught that had literally kept me in bed for days. It was horrible! Thanks to my awesome family though they were able to still tag my kids along with them to the parade and such so they didn't have to miss out on all the fun playing with cousins! We had all caught something that month so it was a quite uneventful month. No Fun! It was a good thing I have my sweetie though to be so good to me and the kids and keep them occupied so I could get the rest I needed!

Here is Ethan not feeling to shabby, pretty much how the whole month went...

The kids had a lot of time to play with the legos with daddy, they built some pretty awesome rockets!

I am always glad that Weber State does fire works after the 4th of July and before the 24th, I am not sure why they do it then, but on Sunday the 17th (It is always around that same time) We went to go see the fireworks at Weber, they always do an awesome job! They have a little mini concert before the fireworks begin that the Orchestra does, then it ends with a bang! I was so grateful I was feeling a little better to go see those fireworks since I missed out on all the fun on the 4th. Nessa, James and Sharon came with us. It was so fun. The kids LOVED it too!

I am really sad that you guys were so sick this month. Espically since we were down and it felt like I didn't get to see you at all.

Wow what a cool rocket! I will have to remember to show Kaleb this picture of the Lego rocket because he would love it! He is really into legos right now, which is fun!

My Beautiful Wife - (Kev's input on our blog)

I can't imagine my life without my beautiful wife, son and daughter! Erika is a loving, patient, and exceptional wife. she is a kind and wise mother! I am so blessed to have her! we held hands for the first time as we walked around bountiful park! she faked a neck pain while laying on my lap and kissed me for the first time! I worried for it seemed like forever about that kiss, I worried that I wasn't very good at it! she thought I was cute though and it worked out to my advantage! Erika and I had known each other for quite some time. She would come and do things with my friends and I. We were at the bountiful park for a young single adult activity and we were playing a game that included quite a bit of running and a heavier girl went down and was haveing trouble breathing. so I went and helped her. to make a long story short I think the girl was faking it cause when I mentioned ambulance all of her simptoms seemed to go away! Erike thought it was cute of me to hold her hand and tell her everything was going to be alright! I think I blew that a little later though when I threw a cooler full of ice water on her during a water fight! I knew she was meant for me after she made it past two weeks of me! She is wonderful! she makes me laugh and I am so happy to see her when I come home! Erika has so many qualities, she is patient, loving, tender, faithful, family oriented, always striving to do better, I cannot say enough about her! I hope she always knows of my love for her, my devotion to her, and my cherishing of her!
