Free Day at the Zoo!

During the winter Months, The Hogle Zoo has Free Days the last Wednesday of every month, February is the last month that they do this so I was determined to get the kids out. It has been a looong winter full of sicknesses and the weather was so beautiful I couldn't turn down a good day at the Zoo. One problem was I didn't charge my Camera battery so two pictures later my camera was dead :( but that's OK Ethan was moving way to fast anyway to get any real good shots. They had such a good time Surprisingly too the animals were all out streching their legs, it was a good time. Kiley loved seeing the animals too, we went in and saw the big gorilla's and she didn't want to get too close to the glass, it was cute but I was so glad we were able to get out and enjoy the fresh air of the Zoo... hmmmm.

Vyedka said...: Lovely Photos! And hey! that is my same double stroller! But I love that yours is blue! Glad you guys were able to have fun at the zoo while there was such good weather. I always loved going to the zoo at the first of the year, before it gets too hot. The Tigers are always out during the winter. During the summer they are too hot to walk around. Erika and Kevin said...: yeah, Stina let me borrow that stroller, I should have just brought the single stroller cause Ethan wasn't even in it once haha and the dumb thing did not fit in any doors, so it was kinda annoying... Oh well; March 4, 2011 at 10:30 AM
Vyedka said...: hahahaha too funny! yeah it doesn't fit through doors! Frustrating! My kids are getting too old for strollers now, which is pretty nice that they can walk/run everywhere now and I don't have to worry about them wanting to be held.; March 16, 2011 at 6:41 PM

My Beautiful Wife - (Kev's input on our blog)

I can't imagine my life without my beautiful wife, son and daughter! Erika is a loving, patient, and exceptional wife. she is a kind and wise mother! I am so blessed to have her! we held hands for the first time as we walked around bountiful park! she faked a neck pain while laying on my lap and kissed me for the first time! I worried for it seemed like forever about that kiss, I worried that I wasn't very good at it! she thought I was cute though and it worked out to my advantage! Erika and I had known each other for quite some time. She would come and do things with my friends and I. We were at the bountiful park for a young single adult activity and we were playing a game that included quite a bit of running and a heavier girl went down and was haveing trouble breathing. so I went and helped her. to make a long story short I think the girl was faking it cause when I mentioned ambulance all of her simptoms seemed to go away! Erike thought it was cute of me to hold her hand and tell her everything was going to be alright! I think I blew that a little later though when I threw a cooler full of ice water on her during a water fight! I knew she was meant for me after she made it past two weeks of me! She is wonderful! she makes me laugh and I am so happy to see her when I come home! Erika has so many qualities, she is patient, loving, tender, faithful, family oriented, always striving to do better, I cannot say enough about her! I hope she always knows of my love for her, my devotion to her, and my cherishing of her!
