Let's Go Caching
Our weekend was really fun! As we were hiking last week training for the Bair Gutsman we ran into some guys who were Geocaching. I had never heard of it before, but Kev had and we got talking to them about it and now we are addicted! For all of you who don't know what geocaching is... like myself before we started this... people hide objects ranging from anything and using their GPS unit they mark the coordinates from satilites, and you get those coordinates off the internet and enter it into your gps and find it. So it is like a treasure hunt! We went caching with our Buddies Cory and Kendelle and it was so much fun! Kev has now found 50, some are pretty easy, but most are pretty difficult. They range from the size of your pinky finger tip to ammo cans and some are camoflauged to there surroundings. The one that is in Kevy's hand is the size of a metal nut and was stuck on the opposite end of a bolt on a bridge, and inside of that little thing is a paper you sign to say you found it. Most all of the have log books that you can sign to say you have found the Cache. They are way fun to find! There are trackable items, like the little car which that one has come all the way from England to africa to south america and America, and now it is on its way to Canada where Kev's brother will placed it! It is a really fun family/friend activity. If you want to learn more go to www.geocaching.com

How fun to find that little car that has been all over the world! I wonder where it is now! Fun times! Take me sometime if you guys ever go when we are in UT.
